FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How do you complete repairs?
The techniques and materials used to repair the damaged area vary hugely depending on it’s size, material and finish. Regardless of the repair type, we will carefully rebuild the damaged area, hand mix the colour and recreate the texture to get a seamless end result.
How long do repairs take?
The time it takes to complete each repair varies hugely depending on the extent of the damage and size of the area requiring restoration. If you’re a homeowner we’ll always provide a competitive project price to complete the work so you don’t need to worry about how long it takes.
How long should I leave the repairs before using the area?
We always recommend leaving the surface of the repair untouched for 24 hours to enable it to properly cure. After this time you can use it as normal. For details care instructions visit our aftercare page for more information.
Will the repair be noticeable?
Our experienced finishers will carefully colour match the repaired area and match the texture of the surface to leave a seamless finish. However, it’s important to remember that light, shadows and reflections can have an impact on how noticeable the area will appear. Although our finishers use their skills and experience to disguise the repair, it is important to remember that it is a repair so it may be slightly noticeable in certain situations.
Will you come to inspect the damage?
We don’t come out to inspect but instead estimate based on images and a short description of the damage. On arrival for the appointment, if the damage is more extensive than previously thought we will update our estimate before we start the work but only proceed once you give the go-ahead.

Can you provide a typical cost for your repairs?
We pride ourselves on always offering a competitive price for our work but the cost will vary depending on the extent and size of the damage. To get a detailed estimate for your work contact us at info@surfacesolutions.com.au.
